June 2009

Fiddle-dee-dee. Isn't she a Southern Belle?
Sarah is about to turn 11 months old on July 7th.

She's also an explorer! Cabinets are such a great place to treasure hunt!

Is she a daddy's girl or what?

Eewwww! Sarah why shoes instead of real food.
Needless to say we learned to put our shoes away.

Sarah, May and June

Sarah at 9 months old
We're still here just in case anyone was wondering. We have had a busy spring. Sarah took her first plane ride, saw her first wedding, played her first putt-putt, and finger painted. She has been swimming, crawling, toddling when you hold her hands, and her latest feat as of a couple of days ago is climbing the stairs by herself. We really need to baby proof. Brian and I are doing well and just grateful to the Lord for his provisions with jobs, family, and our darling Sarah. See our photos below.

Long Time No Post - So Sorry!

Hello All. Sorry it has been so long. We have been very busy teething, cutting my two bottom teeth, attempting to crawl, learning to eat, swimming, going to the library baby program, taking some trips, making friends in the nursery, discovering ny hands and feet, playing in the bathtub with rubber ducky, going on walks, making more laundry for mommy, etc. You know all the important things in life. And, it has been a blast.

Please see my picture collage below. Lots of love.

Baby, It's cold outside!

We have had a cold snap this past week! I guess everybody has really.
So here is Sarah all bundled up!

My First Snow!

Mommy and Daddy with Sarah in the back yard. We tried to get her to hold a snowball, unsuccessfully! Oh well, I guess we have to save some things for later.

Sitting Pretty

Sarah is still not rolling over but doing very well at sitting up by herself. She really likes things that crinkle so I gave her this bag of frozen spinach. She like to make it make noise.

Popeye doesn't stand a chance of getting this spinach!

Eat this! You've got to be kidding me! Cereal Smear-eal!!

GO JOHNNY GO-O GO-O! Gaa Gaa!
This is where I hang out when mom is busy upstairs!

Daddy and me love to laugh and play together. He was tickling my chin with the pillow fringe.

Well, I hope everyone is having such a fun start to the new year as me. Love Sarah

Happy New Year!

We hope that everyone had a safe and happy end to 2008 and pray these things for 2009!
New Year's Eve Day is Brian's birthday so we always celebrate that too! We had a few friends from church over and had a great time. New Year's Day we headed to Greenville so Brian, Brad, and Jim could all meet up and go camping. Here are some beautiful photos Brian took from Cheoah bald. It was very cold, but they all had a great time. Sarah and I stayed in Greenville with Monica and we had a great time too - shopping, watching movies, visiting Melba, and just hanging out!
